Services

Understand the water on your site, then design accordingly

Six fields of work, from the catchment to the structure. Each study starts from your data and leads to well-argued design choices.

Hydrological studies

Catchment delineation, time of concentration, HEC-HMS rainfall-runoff models and design flows for the selected return periods.

Flood modelling

HEC-RAS 1D, 2D and coupled models. Mapping of flood extents, water depths, velocities and hazard.

Drainage and stormwater

Sizing of ditches, networks, crossing structures and detention basins. SWMM modelling when the network requires it.

Runoff and erosion

Identification of flow paths and ponding areas. Protection measures for access roads, slopes and foundations.

Renewable energy

Hydrological and hydraulic studies for solar PV plants, wind farms and battery energy storage sites (BESS).

Structures and infrastructure

Bridges, pipe and box culverts, linear infrastructure: hydraulic capacity, upstream backwater, hydraulic transparency of embankments.

Account for water from the very first layout of the plant

We support developers and engineering firms, from feasibility to detailed design, to qualify the risk and adapt the layout.

Since 2024: 15 plants studied in France, Italy, Germany, Chile, Sweden, Bulgaria and Senegal.

  • Flood extent and water depths on the plot for the design floods
  • Flow velocities and scour risk at the foot of structures
  • Runoff paths crossing the layout and ponding areas
  • Position of substations, inverters and batteries relative to the highest water levels
  • Drainage of access roads, ditches, crossings and discharge points
  • Erosion under module rows and during construction

Method

A clear process, from your data to the report

Assignments are carried out remotely or on site. You keep a single point of contact from the first discussion to the delivery of the results.

  1. Step 01

    Data review

DTM or LiDAR, topographic surveys, rainfall, soils, land use and project constraints.

  2. Step 02

    Modelling

Hydrology, then 1D or 2D hydraulics. Checks on terrain, structures and model stability.

  3. Step 03

    Analysis and design

Critical review of results, risk areas, comparison of options and sizing.

  4. Step 04

    Delivery and follow-up

Report, maps and files. Discussions with your teams to integrate the results into the project.

Training

Train your teams in HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS and CFD

Courses built around your needs and the actual level of the participants, online or in person, in a short or spread-out format.
